The GTM Assistant Shopify app allows you to easily install the various tracking codes (including GA4 tags) to your Shopify website. It is very easy to configure the app for required tags once you have the following accounts ready to use.
- Create a Gmail/google account (Ignore this step if you already have a Google account & its login details with you)
- Go to "Google Analytics website" while logged into the same Google/Gmail account to make sure that you have added & verified your website with Google Analytics.

- There is no need to do any extra effort for Google Tag Manager Account as it is created automatically once you have a Google/Gmail account.
- In case there are multiple containers in Google Tag Manager: Make a decision on what container to use to publish the website tracking tags. Note down the container name. The app will use the default container to publish the tags if no extra container is created.
Once the above details are ready, you are good to get started with GTM Assistant shopify app installation.
